Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Strategy Lead who will drive strategic initiatives to accelerate Welcome to the Jungle's growth across our three key markets (France, the UK, and the US), while developing leadership capabilities in a fast-paced environment.

You will be responsible for orchestrating our company-wide strategic planning process, developing robust data analytics frameworks, and enabling cross-functional teams to make informed business decisions that align with our long-term vision.

You will be part of the Strategy & Product Marketing team, and will work in close collaboration with the CEO, Executive Committee, Data team, and cross-functional leaders across all departments. Here’s a snapshot of your future responsibilities:

Company Planning & Strategic Alignment

  • Annual planning: Lead the annual strategic planning process (OKR) in partnership with the Executive Committee, CEO and Chief of Staff, translating company vision into actionable objectives. Develop and implement effective communication strategies for key internal rituals

  • Cross-Functional alignment: Orchestrate quarterly business reviews to ensure teams are progressing toward strategic goals, facilitating productive discussions that drive accountability and results

  • Strategic framework optimization: Proactively assess leadership and team needs to challenge internal practices, simplifying management tools to enhance decision-making processes

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Performance reporting: Design and govern comprehensive reporting cadences that provide meaningful insights to Executive and Leadership teams

  • Data strategy & enablement: Partner with our Data team to build a data-driven culture through self-serve analytics capabilities, data convergence across our 3 countries, and optimized metrics that align with strategic objectives.

Strategic insights: Conduct deep-dive analyses on critical business challenges and translate findings into actionable recommendations.

At Welcome to the Jungle, we are all coming from (really) different backgrounds, that’s our main strength! Our Strategy Lead would be someone with:

  • Proven experience (8+ years) in a similar role in fast-paced, Saas or digital environments, ideally in Strategy & Operations team, Project management or Strategy consulting firms

  • Data-driven, clear and with an appetite for reporting and analysis

  • Track record in building mutually beneficial relationships with partners, experience in change management

  • Excellent communication skills, both in French and English

  • International experience is a plus

Preferred Experience

In addition, the Strategy Lead would have to present the following qualities and mindset:
