Descriptif du poste

🎯 Role Overview

As Assistant Resort Manager, you will support the Resort Manager in delivering exceptional operations and guest services across a portfolio of luxury properties. You will help manage day-to-day operations, coordinate teams, and ensure that all procedures are followed to uphold the brand’s high standards. You act as the right hand of the Resort Manager, ready to step in when needed.

🧭 Key Responsibilities

Operational Support

  • Assist the Resort Manager in coordinating daily resort activities and managing priorities.

  • Support in the preparation and monitoring of staff rotas and schedules.

  • Help implement and monitor operational tools and processes.

  • Ensure alignment of team routines with company standards and seasonal goals.

  • Step in for the Resort Manager when required (e.g., rest days, emergency situations).

Team Coordination & Supervision

  • Help onboard seasonal staff and provide on-the-ground training with support from the Resort Manager.

  • Serve as a point of contact for team members (concierges, runners, local reps) for day-to-day tasks and issue resolution.

  • Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to the Resort Manager.

  • Coordinate logistics related to arrivals, departures, and in-resort services.

Guest Experience

  • Ensure properties are guest-ready and customized according to pre-arrival notes.

  • Assist with guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring smooth and professional service.

  • Handle guest requests or small issues proactively and escalate major concerns to the Resort Manager.

  • Contribute to delivering a luxury hospitality experience by supporting the concierge team with service coordination.

Property Oversight

  • Support in the inspection and preparation of properties before the season starts.

  • Conduct regular checks during the season to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and readiness.

  • Coordinate with cleaning and maintenance teams for timely interventions.

  • Assist in inventory and stock control of in-resort supplies and equipment.

Supplier & Stakeholder Liaison

  • Communicate directly with local service providers (cleaners, maintenance technicians, etc.) as delegated.

  • Ensure smooth collaboration with other resort departments (logistics, maintenance, housekeeping).

  • Assist in sourcing and managing seasonal suppliers when necessary.

Administration & Reporting

  • Help manage resort budgets and petty cash under the supervision of the Resort Manager.

  • Ensure CRM entries, checklists, and administrative documents are up to date.

  • Report incidents or operational challenges to the Resort Manager in a timely manner.

Profil recherché

  • Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, luxury property management, or resort operations.

  • Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written); other languages are an advantage.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Strong team spirit and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

  • Comfortable using digital tools and management systems (CRM, Excel, etc.).

  • Discretion, autonomy, and a high sense of responsibility.

  • Valid driving license required.
