Job Description

We are opening a new Catalogue Acquisition Manager position to support the business team in charge of accelerating catalogue acquisitions at group level.

Under the responsibility of the VP Small Catalogue Acquisition and with a "dotted line" with the VP M&A, the Catalog Acquisition Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the catalogue acquisitions processes and will also lead special/ad-hoc projects to support scale and strengthen the execution model.

 

Key Responsibilities :

Lead deal execution

  • Manage deal pipeline: assess deals eligibility and set priorities leveraging local teams’ intelligence  
  • Analyze past catalogue performance, model future cash flows and define target acquisition price
  • Negotiate key business and financial terms of the transactions in collaboration with the Catalogue Acquisition Lawyer and the local team (non-binding agreement, asset purchase agreement)  
  • Coordinate and oversee the conduct of the due diligence process of the assets, including financial, legal, and potential tax reviews
  • Prepare post-merger integration kick-off meetings, anticipating any specific issues and onboarding relevant expert teams as early as possible in the acquisition process
  • Contribute to catalogue performance monitoring and analysis post-acquisition

 

Lead special/ad hoc projects to support scale and strengthen the execution model

  • Prepare strategy and deal pipeline presentations on a regular basis
  • Participate to process improvement and formalization
  • Lead and streamline the sourcing process on a defined geographical scope in collaboration with country and local business heads

Preferred Experience

  • Master’s degree in business or finance
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Corporate Finance, M&A or Transaction Services, with either a proven track record of executing M&A transactions or robust modeling skills
  • Highly analytical profile, with strong financial acumen and deep knowledge of valuation techniques
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Perfect command of written and oral English is mandatory 
  • Advanced skills in Excel & Powerpoint is also mandatory
